Message from the CEO

For KUTSUROGI 100 years into the future

KOMEDA Holdings Co., Ltd. President & CEO

At the KOMEDA Group, our mission is to "provide deeper KUTSUROGI." In today's increasingly complex society, where human relationships tend to become more tenuous, the expectation for KUTSUROGI has never been greater. That value is nurtured through warm interactions with our loyal customers, our franchisees rooted in local communities, as well as our staff who work with passion.
To link this KUTSUROGI into the future, we have reorganized key sustainability priority issues into three themes and eight material issues, and placed them at the core of our management strategy. Building on a foundation of safety and security, we work together with local communities and future generations to "co-create new experiences." While respecting human rights, we support our staff and owners, in taking on challenges, and "empower the people" who co-create KUTSUROGI. And we will "preserve the environment" of a rich Earth through decarbonization and resource recycling. These ongoing efforts serve as our universal guidelines, remaining unwavering even in this era of rapid change.
Since our founding, we have nurtured Japan's "Kissaten" culture by staying close to our local communities. We will now share this culture with the world. Even if the form of KUTSUROGI changes with the times, we will continue to ensure that KOMEDA remains an essential part of society that brings warmth to communities. Together with our stakeholders, we will continue to walk the path toward a sustainable future.
