At events for KOMEDA’s official fan club “KOMEDA Club,” we provided opportunities for “KOMEDA Club” members to directly engage in dialogue with the President and to think about the future of KOMEDA together.

Exchange of opinions at Large and Small Franchise Owners Conferences
We hold Block Franchise Owners Conferences subdivided into areas and exchange opinions on a wide range of topics including headquarter policies, store operations and contributing to local communities.
In FY2023, we held 12 conferences, which were attended by a total of 166 franchisee owners.

Promotion of understanding within the company through policy presentations and morning meetings
The President explains developments within the company through policy presentations twice a year as well as through morning meetings once a month and company newsletters.

Exchange through menu development and activities contributing to local communities
We made locally produced jam out of local produce and offered a season limited morning service.
We also donated products worth around 1,019,000 yen to meet the needs of children’s cafeterias.
NPOs and NGOsWe will use “KUTSUROGI” as an opportunity to revitalize local communities.
Major methods for dialogue Conservation activities with certified NPO “Mori no Kaze”
Exchange of opinions in “KOMEDA no Mori” activities
We measure the effectiveness of conservation activities by measuring the amount of CO2 absorbed in the “KOMEDA no Mori” initiative.
We also provide opportunities for people who visit “KOMEDA no Mori” to exchange opinions on the recycling of wood.

Reduction of plastic packaging
We reduced the amount of plastic we use annually by around 4.7 tonnes through incremental changes such as using thinner film for the drip coffees we sell.
